Mural
- Government of Canada, Heritage Department This mural decorates the space behind a baggage carousel at Meeting Place 'D' at the Calgary International airport. Sponsored by the Canadian Government, its purpose was to illustrate all the ways that government is involved in the arts in the region. These are depicted through approximately 80 running feet with a hand-painted mural built on several planes to maximize visual interest and drama. Several elements are fully three-dimensional, and all are totally customized to fit the many preexisting shapes, openings, and wall shapes. |
